Who we are

TD Engine Parts supplies genuine and remanufactured diesel engine parts. We are an independent distributor: we are not a dealer for any manufacturer, and we are not owned by or acting for one. We source through authorised distributor channels, which is what lets us supply a genuine part without being tied to a single brand's network.

We sell to engineers, operators and fleets who need a correctly specified part.

Where the parts come from

Every part we supply is a genuine or manufacturer-remanufactured component, bought through authorised channels. We do not supply pattern or copy parts.

We are not an authorised dealer for any manufacturer. Naming a brand on this site tells you what a part fits, nothing more.

Availability and lead times

We hold no stock. Every order is bought in from our supplier when you place it, so a lead time is confirmed on enquiry rather than promised in advance.

A date is given once we have it from the supplier, and we tell you if it moves.

In full before we order the part

Nothing is bought on this website. Adding a part to the basket raises a quotation, and no payment is taken here. We confirm the price and the lead time, and the order starts when cleared funds reach us.

Prices are ex works and exclude customs duty and import taxes. Orders shipped outside the UK may be charged duty, import VAT and a clearance fee by the destination country. These are payable by you, not by us.

Shipping, returns and cores

Prices are ex works: shipping, insurance, duties and handling are yours from the point of dispatch. Once an order is dispatched it cannot be cancelled.

A part can be returned within 30 days of delivery if it is unused, resellable and in its original packaging. Made-to-order items are excluded. The core on a remanufactured part must reach us within 30 days of delivery for the deposit to be refunded; after that the part is priced as outright.

Carriers, transit times, damaged or wrong goods, lost shipments and how to send something back are set out in full under shipping and returns. A part that has failed in service is a warranty claim rather than a return — see warranty and claims.

Intellectual property

TD Engine Parts is independent. We have no affiliation, partnership, endorsement or authorisation from Caterpillar Inc., MTU Friedrichshafen GmbH, Yanmar Co., Ltd., MAN, or any other original equipment manufacturer named on this site.

Brand names, trademarks and part numbers appear here only to identify what a part is and what it fits. They remain the property of their owners, and their use does not imply sponsorship, approval or association.

The content of this site, including its text, graphics and the compilation of information, belongs to TD Engine Parts and ConnectionSphere Ltd. Reproducing or reusing it commercially without written consent is not permitted. Indexing by search engines is.

Our liability

If a part we supplied is defective, our liability is to replace it or to refund what you paid for it. Our total liability for any order, whatever the cause of action, is limited to the amount you paid us for the part the claim is about.

We are not liable for any other loss arising from a failure, including downtime, hire, recovery, wasted labour, lost work or contracts, or damage to other parts of the engine or the machine it is fitted to, except where the law does not allow us to exclude that liability.

Choosing the right part, and fitting and using it properly, is yours. So is insuring against the operational risks of running the equipment. We will help you identify a part from a number, a machine model and a serial number, but we do not inspect your equipment and we cannot be responsible for a selection made on incomplete information.

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. If you buy as a consumer, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected.

We handle personal data under the UK GDPR. We do not sell it to anyone.
