General Information
TD Engine Parts is a specialist marine engine parts supplier focused on delivering genuine OE components for high-performance commercial and leisure vessels. Operating independently from OEM brands, the company sources exclusively through authorised distributor channels to ensure full compatibility with leading engine platforms while maintaining competitive flexibility and responsiveness. With a strong emphasis on technical accuracy, TD Engine Parts supports engineers, operators, and fleet managers with correctly specified components, clear documentation, and dependable availability. Every part supplied is selected for reliability in harsh marine environments, underpinning safe operation, reduced downtime, and predictable maintenance planning. The business is built around precision, trust, and long-term engine performance rather than generic aftermarket volume, reflecting a philosophy that prioritises engineering integrity over shortcuts.
Where are your products made?
Our parts are carefully sourced from authorised suppliers of genuine OE components across the global marine industry. Designed for demanding commercial and leisure applications, we work with specialist OE channels in key regions, including Europe and Japan, to ensure a broad range of engine components, systems, and configurations. We place critical importance on material quality, reliability, and compliance, selecting only genuine parts that meet or exceed stringent marine engineering standards for performance and durability. From precision‑machined fuel system parts to high‑spec filtration and cooling components, every product reflects the technical expertise and manufacturing discipline of its original maker. We believe the operational reliability behind each part is just as important as its specification, and we ensure every item we supply is produced under rigorous OEM quality control and attention to detail. Our close collaboration with authorised distributors and established suppliers ensures that each component not only performs over the long term in harsh marine environments but also supports responsible production and supply practices. While TD Engine Parts is not an authorised distributor, every item we sell is a genuine OE part sourced through approved channels, reflecting the commitment to performance and dependability that defines the TD Engine Parts philosophy.
Product Availability
TD Engine Parts operates with procurement-based fulfilment, meaning all orders are sourced through our authorised distributor partners upon request. We do not maintain physical inventory; instead, we provide access to genuine OE components for Caterpillar, MTU, and Yanmar marine engines with transparent lead time communication from the point of inquiry. This model ensures you receive factory-specification parts without the markup associated with speculative stocking, while delivery timelines reflect real supplier availability and logistics chains. Every order is processed with clarity on expected turnaround, and we work to expedite procurement wherever commercially feasible. Our focus is on securing the correct part efficiently rather than promising immediate dispatch, supporting planned maintenance windows and reducing the risk of incorrect specifications or compatibility issues that compromise engine performance and reliability.
Pricing & Payment
TD Engine Parts requires full payment prior to order procurement and dispatch, ensuring transparent transactional integrity and risk mitigation across international supply chains. We accept multiple payment methods including bank transfer, invoice settlement for established account holders, and secure card or PayPal transactions processed through industry-standard encrypted gateways. All pricing is quoted upfront with no hidden fees, though customers remain responsible for any applicable customs duties or import charges outside the UK. Payment terms are clear at the point of inquiry, with order processing commencing only upon confirmed receipt of cleared funds. This approach protects both parties, eliminates speculative ordering, and ensures that procurement costs align with customer commitment, supporting efficient capital allocation and maintaining our ability to source genuine OE components at competitive rates without carrying financial exposure.
Shipping & Delivery
TD Engine Parts ships orders primarily via FedEx Priority, offering either our negotiated account rates or shipment on the customer's own account for collection and billing flexibility. All major international carriers, including DHL and others, are available where required, allowing customers to align deliveries with their existing logistics arrangements. All prices quoted are ex works, meaning shipping, insurance, duties, taxes, and any related import or handling charges are the customer's responsibility from the point of dispatch. Once an order is dispatched, it cannot be cancelled, as goods are in transit and commitment is binding. While we endeavour to support customers throughout the delivery process, delays caused by customs inspections, adverse weather, or other unforeseen circumstances remain outside our control, and we cannot accept liability for extended transit times resulting from such events.
In the event of a lost shipment, the carrier will initiate a formal case investigation to locate the goods and determine liability. TD Engine Parts may, at its discretion, reship the order before the investigation concludes, though this is not guaranteed and depends on stock availability, order value, and commercial circumstances. If the carrier formally declares an item lost following their investigation process, we will either reship the order or issue a full refund, ensuring the customer is not financially disadvantaged by carrier failure. All lost shipment claims are subject to carrier terms and conditions, and customers are required to cooperate with any documentation or evidence requests during the investigation. We work to resolve such incidents expediently, but final resolution timelines remain dependent on carrier procedures and claim processing systems beyond our direct control.
Returns & Refunds
Customers may return non–Made to Order items within 30 days of delivery, provided they are unused, in resellable condition, and complete with original packaging, for either a full refund or credit toward alternative items. Returns outside this period are not accepted unless covered under the OE manufacturer’s warranty.
For warranty-related issues beyond 30 days, customers must return the suspected faulty item to TD Engine Parts at their own cost in the first instance; if the warranty review is successful, reasonable return shipping costs will be refunded. The item is then forwarded to the OE manufacturer, who conducts a technical inspection and determines whether a manufacturing fault exists; if the warranty claim is accepted, the customer will receive either a full refund or a replacement part in line with the manufacturer’s decision. TD Engine Parts may, at its discretion, issue a replacement (but not a refund) prior to completion of this inspection, depending on the circumstances and criticality of the part.
All approved refunds are processed back to the original method of payment. Timing of funds appearing in the customer’s account is dependent on card issuers, banks, or payment providers, and TD Engine Parts has no control over these external processing times.
